Thanks. I find it interesting. Here are the MDLP K16 distance run: Fascinating how OP is genetically much closer to Komi, Chuvash, Mari who live much more geographically farther away than to fellow Scandinavians (except Finns of course as they both shared East Eurasian admixture).

It could be some sort of ANE affinity since South Asians also have shitloads of ANE.
It shows genotype doesn't equal phenotype. Makes me wonder how typical/common are his results among modern day Samis or are most already admixed with Northern Germanics? But it seems like he doesn't have any recent Norwegian ancestry.

Here are the closest pops to the OP using PuntDNAL K12 Modern: Seems like he is genetically much closer to Chuvash (they seem to be genetically Uralic despite speaking a Turkic language) and Balts than to other Scandinavians (once again with the exception of Finns). Probably has to do with the fact that Baltics have the lowest amount of Neolithic in Europe after Uralics. Strange though that the Russian is second closest pop to him here, probably Northern Russian with some Mongoloid ancestry?
Would be nice if there were other Uralic pops in the spreadsheet so can we can get a better picture.

Wow its crazy how OP is so different from an ethnic Norwegian despite living in the same country and not that geographically distant from one another. Tbh, it makes me think that Samis are Europe's genetically most unique population, maybe even more than Sardinians and Basques.
