I love the name Rhiannon...but if I had ever named my child as such, I'd never hear the end of the Stevie Nicks comparisons....especially because I've always dressed similar to her and kind of admire her as a rule.

My son is Derek Evans (Evans was my father's middle name, and his grandmother's maiden name)

I love Germanic and Celtic names best.

I'd like to continue the legacy of my family. If I have kids, my firstborn would have to be named Robert or Evelyn. Those are after the family members I love most, then I'd think about the other names most common in my ancestry, Johannes and Emilie.

Yeah, of course the origin is Greek, it's a Greek word. But the form you mentioned looks like taken from Italian. Unless it is an old Portuguese form that became fossilized.
