this is my k36 similarity map. According to this I am equally similar to Ukrainians/Poles/Russians/Belarusians some parts of Estonia and Latvia, Sorbs and to a slightly lesser extent to Czechs and Slovaks. AncestryDNA on the other hand claims that I am from Lithuania

To be honest with you Slovenes and some Balts aren't that much different genetically.

That's not true. I guess some Poles can be very Baltic while others not. Interesting how half Polish half Slovenian user here on TA cluster with Austrians, or like full-fledged Slovene.

It is hard to say about Poles in general though.

Speaking about other categories than just genetics:

Language - Poles are closer to Slovenians as Slavic speakers
History - In the past some areas of modern Latvia belonged to Poland, no such close relations with Slovenia
Phenotype - Probably related to genetics. Maybe Poles are closer to Latvians and Estonians but very slightly.
