America isn't an evil empire.

It is a largely isolated society, isolated by geography, history and its culture. It is continually being agitated with stories that to the rest of the world are preposterus, yet it can somehow believe. Then, seems more than willing to send its own kids, paid for out of its own pockets, to fight and die in far away lands for causes they don't understand and which don't matter to them at all.
