Yes, but those part-Anglo or part-German Portuguese Americans are mixed with other nationalities and thus cannot be quite described as 'pure Portuguese' either.

"Portuguese" is a political category anyway. The Portuguese are, in the main, part of the the Atlantic facade (AF) populations. Yes, the AF has existed since the Bronze Age or longer and endures today. Like it or not, it's real and to deny it is irrational. Their racial substratum is essentially Proto-Celtic and Celtic, with some Iberian elements.

I just had to mention it because it shows that they had no problem marrying Portuguese both in the past and now. Also shows that these people feel closer to Azorean culture than to other cultures. It doesn't mean that they are typical either, we have people mixed with non-European too, they still participate in festas.

There is no way that 45% of Portuguese would look native in Ireland. Are most Portuguese Brunn influenced? There are just different influences in the two populations. I'm sure this goes for the rest of the British Isles as well but 45% is kind of OTT. I wonder if people really know what certain populations look like? I don't personally think actors or actresses should be used because they aren't representative of what the average person looks like. I'm sure there is some population crossover but it is way overestimated here.

Irish women are even more different I think.
