Bulgarian president's sponsors feature on the list of people with Swiss accounts who may have evaded taxation, which the country seeks to obtain from Germany, the nationalists claim.

“Georgi Parvanov should not be president of Bulgaria,“ Volen Siderov, leader of the nationalist Ataka party, said at a press conference on Sunday in the wake of the conflict between the president and the government, which has been making headlines for days already.

“This is an attempt to destabilize the country by putting a stoke in the wheel of reforms,” added Siderov, who was the current president contender in the elections run-off in 2007.
