It has been common knowledge for years that Eurovision is particularly popular to LGBT people. However, I do also think it was because of the beard for the shock value.

It's a lame fest, however I've checked the results. Curiosity often gets the better out of me, as it does for many I think.

I watched a view entries from last year and all the really good ones weren't even close to winning.

I seriously expected her to score well, because of the current PC tendencies toward 'fat acceptance' making us have to believe being 'fat' is a lifestyle choice. Now I am all for not bullying fatties because I believe their depression might cause them to maintain their unhealthy food habits. They should by no means be forced to lock themselves up from society.

Still, she didn't get nearly as many votes as I expected she would. Most LGBT tend to be more fat intolerant still I guess (after all, fashion designers are often gay men and they love anorexia).

I can't believe EuroVision is so popular. It seems so cheesy to me. I wish the performances were in native language, with folk songs, dress and instruments native to the performers' countries of origin. Then, for me, it would be interesting to watch. Feels quite stupid with nearly everyone singing in English.
