Birds hunting for food.


These strong birds can lift large animals into the sky and slice them open with their long sharp talons.
Like most birds, they'll fight to the death with other birds to defend their territories,
as the survival of the fittest species in nature.

Cassowaries;- the world's most dangerous dinosaur-like bird
that has slashed people to death and put others in hospital,
as this shy bird is defensive of its territory.

An Australian teenager died after he threw something at a cassowary bird once,
and the bird responded in self-defence
by jumping up and slashing the humans throat
with its strong and long razor-sharp talons... and killed him.

Their talons are like long knife blades
and they can pierce several inches into human flesh.



An Australian female tried to run away from a cassowary,
but cassowaries can run much faster
than even the fastest human on record
and the bird sliced and tore the door off her car
before putting the woman in hospital.

The Lyre Bird can mimic the sounds of car alarms, machine-guns, construction tools, cameras, chainsaws,
and mimic the sounds of many other bird species that it hears around him.

Male birds are very vocal as a show of their energy and power
when competing with other male birds
and guarding their terrorities and/or when they're seeking a mate.

These birds squabble a lot with other starlings over their food
(they chuck food around a lot when squabbling
and they make a lot of noise on my balcony each day
and jump up and down when squabbling with other starlings)
and they walk with confidence on the ground.

Funny birds to watch... but you have to be careful
what you say around them as they have the ability to mimicry.



Predators such as falcons can't catch a starling when they fly together like this.
They're not flying like this for decoration, but to outsmart birds-of-prey.
