Staff of "N North Eurasia" project suggested, that it's N1c-L550>L1025>M2783. Most matches from Lithuania (or what was Lithuania in the past).

Sorry for the confusion, it's a paternal great-grandfather. I've just shortened it.

I've expected either R1a(CTS111962?L260?CTS8816?) or I2-Y3111 (what was called an I2-DIN http://www.yfull.com/tree/I-Y3111/)

Results of another ancestral line.

CTS1211>YP1019 is a rare sublineage of R1a-Z280, most likely emerged in Bronze Age within Sosnica culture of post-Corded Ware Trzciniec horizon.
It has rather Baltic character, although on FTDNA participants from that clade are mostly Northwestern Russian and Northeastern Polish. It's due to the much higher amount of people tested (and participating in R1a Project) in those two countries.
By the way, I had common paternal ancestor with that lineage at about 3000 B.C. Pure Corded Ware inbreeding.



Allright, so let's take a look on the matches. Russian, Lithuanian or a Latvian was highly expected. Firstly, a 37-marker match.



Hell no. A Swede from Husaby in Vastergotaland. I've e-mailed this guy, he says that lineage is Swedish as far as the church records go. Few dozens of CTS1211>YP1019 males live somewhere in that region, probably everyone with different patronymic surname. OK, let's go down to 25 markers...a Lithuanian, no genealogical info aside that. E-mail was sent, I still haven't received a reply.



But I can see hope on the horizon. There is an Ysearch, I can upload results to this site and probably find some related people. Yeah!

Most meaningful match, Eduards Verprejs from Dundaga in Latvia. And an outlier - Morgan from Wales. Uiselt and Cooley are too distant to mean something, the latter person is Z284. Some Poles, anyone? Sheeeiiitt.

I've ordered an N-M232 SNP Pack, that tests whole lot of SNPs. Maybe not that much as Big Y does but for 99$ it is a good occasion.

Another ancestral line results are in, this time R1b-M296. Damn, I don't have a luck for clades of I(2 or 1)

Most likely not to be Z2103 but either P312 or U106. I will definitely order R1b-Backbone SNP Pack.
