Obsession with whiteness

Why are like half the threads on here "Is X white?". Even worse, "Who is whiter?". There is no gradiating scale of whiteness unless someone is mixed-race,at which point they are multiple races.
I know this forum is mostly about cultural and racial discussion,but it's pretty retarded IMO.
White Americans, South Americans etc are not European. No one outside of Europe is European, no one who isn't primarily descended from Europeans is white. It's not necessarily a bad thing certain groups aren't white, it just is what it is.

I see what you're saying,but there's a better term. "Caucasian". Middle Easterners and North Africans are similar to whites racially,but it's a bit confusing I suppose.

You said that anyone from outside of Europe isn't European, I disagree. There are multiple definitions of that word, and here's one of them: A European is an individual who's ancestry roots are from that continent. Being outside of that continent doesn't necessarily qualify you as a non euro.
