Going for a short break in Groningen

I will be there from 16th to the 21st Sept, do if anyone would like to meet up during that time, then I will make every effort to do so.

I am staying with relatives of a friend and have no particular agenda.

Any recommendation on what I should see?

You will be close enough to Friesland that you might attempt to re-introduce their ancient tradition of marathon deep knee bending sessions.

Not really close by (more then four hours traveling with public transport). And I hardly know the city, so I can not recommend anything to you.

I have only been there once.. and I don't know much about the place: it's called the Siberia of the Netherlands by some people for a reason.

Well Groningen has some things worth seeing. It has an old centre, and I thought it's quite nice. Have been there two or three times, long time ago.

I was there once and my kloten are still blue.........but not from the cold.
I stayed in De Ville and believe me,those university dolls love "research"
