Would you have found them equally odd looking if I said they were Spanish, Portuguese, or Greek?

Probably not if they were Canarians, but mainland Iberians or Greeks yes.

I don't find the woman on the left exotic at all (she looks like my own grandmother and her eye shape not too different than mine), other than sort of looking Armenian. The others, yes but within the spectrum. I think the man on the right could actually pass in Portugal and southern Spain as an exotic type.

I took out the old lady that people were getting offended about, because the children in the photo didn't look fully native and I do not want people thinking I am mocking Sicily or anything.

    Totally do not fit:

More or less, I agree with this ranking with the exception that I think they fit better in Lebanon than in Spain or Northern Italy.

How do you think these photos compare to average Greek people?

The 40% of non-similarity, what influences do you see here?

FYI I think the Greeks were the last major wave of population to impact the island as a whole. The non-Greek influences likely PREDATE the arrival of Greeks.

I have seen genetically that you can in fact model Sicilians as Greek in the amount of 60-80% and some kind of West Asian for the remainder, with the amounts depending on the individual. So this may be true.
