The issue is more complicated than that and I personally don't have an issue with population growth in of itself but my issue with your post is the absurdity that just because a population rises it will mean wealth will be created by adding workers to industry. It doesn't work that way today. You're two centuries too late. All it will mean is cheap labor to foreign companies.

Actually, the situation will be worse thanks to robotics (there are already machines picking grapes, oranges, etc., for example). What are you going to do with such a large unskilled population? They will cause a problem to whomever is in power.

Worst of all they export their people to us. Everyday you hear of loadboats of people arriving to Crete (besides the Aegean) from Egypt. I already see many Egyptians in Greece. Egypt is not in war zone and the immigrants it exports are not refugees but purely economic immigrants.

Maybe we should start sinking those boats so that the likes of 'Egyptian' will have to rethink about birth control.
