I like.

It reminds me of when I was younger and my grandmother was still alive. My grandfather and older sister had passed on and she went once a week to tend to their graves. I always went along. I absolutely LOVED the graveyard. Whilst my grandmother was busy at grandfather's and sister's grave I'd go exploring.

In Apartheid South Africa, there was Apartheid in the graveyards too. Not only were people classified into white or non-white, they were also buried according to their religion. Each denomination had their own section. Heaven forbid a Dutch Reformed person was buried next to a Catholic!

I used to love looking at the graves, imagining what the lives of those people were like, what they did, who they loved, who loved them, which church they belonged to.

At the foot of my sister's grave, they squeezed in an extra one, because both were children's graves. It belonged to a little girl called Natasha. She died in the mid 1970's when she was about 3 or 4, and would have been only a few years older than me. I always wondered if she would have liked me, if we would have played together, if she would have been my friend. Whenever my grandmother went to the graveyard I insisted that she bring some flowers for Natasha too.

There was another graveyard, next to a church, which was much older than the one where my family was buried. The graves all dated from the mid-1800's. I loved exploring there too. I let my imagination run wild.

If I had a camera in those days I would also probably have made videos like this. Since I was small I've always been fascinated by graveyards. So no, I don't find these videos creepy.
