Not sure about that. It's very soft style, so based on that...yes. But I just went to see one aikido show at age of 9...and it looked bit boring. Bit same with taido. Technics can look ok, but I wonder how they will work in real life situations. Yup...by that time I chose jiujitsu.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu because you can be far weaker or smaller and still choke someone unconscious, then boxing.

Maybe, if you're talented and far enough from your attacker (kick him and run away), but if he is very close...

Anyway...I learned some kicks (which do not belong to Wadō-ryū karate) via TaeKwonDo.

It's not about winning, it's about survival. If you break a mans arm, he's probably gonna stop pestering you, if you choke him unconscious, you can run away, if you knee bar his leg into oblivion .... I think you get my point.
