Relationship Between Serbs and Montenegrins (or Montenegrin Serbs?)

I'm a bit confused about the long relationship between the Montenegrins and Serbs. I know they were joined at the hip for much of their history and Montenegro is even referred to as the "Serbian Sparta." So what is the status of their relationship today after Montenegro's independence?

Montenegrins are more proud of Serbian heritage than actual Serbs from Serbia are imo

There's no bad relation between normal people tho, huge % of Montenegrins studies in Serbia and stay to live here afterwards, they are a bit more traditional than Serbs are and more stuborn but in generally, there's hardly even any difference between the people.

And about Serbian Sparta, Montenegrins were a war tribe and back i nthe past they lived for the battle, one of the biggest poets in Serbian history and a Montenegrin as well said before he died, he is only sorry he did not get to kill more Turks during his life... and he was a poet..

No one could ever survive Montenegrin mountains, Turks never even bothered climbing up there and few times they tried they ended up slaughtered, so in a way you can even say Montenegro stayed unconquered.

I know lot of them, from Uni. No big difference between them and Serbs. Montenegrins are maybe more proud of their families and surname, as i can notice. Both males and females. They care more about opinion of their parents for example. Girls are a bit more conservative than Serbian girls. But in general, no much difference.
