That's a shame. Might I recommend trying to dispel the 'occult' or even 'Satanic' aspect that the runes might have to a mind trained in her spiritual upbringing, by stressing their historical and ethnocultural aspects?

She might be relieved to hear that the Christian English used the runes in Christian contexts up until the Twelfth Century, with the Norse using them far longer...

    Show her the Ruthwell Cross;

    The text is
Krist wæs on rodi. Hweþræ'/ þer fusæ fearran kwomu / æþþilæ til anum.
"Christ was on the cross. Yet / the brave came there from afar / to their lord."

Other attitudes might grow from such an appreciation...

As Croats, what's your link to this sort of thing, can I ask? Gepid/Ostrogoth/relatively recent Austrian German blood?
She is a,rather, conservative Christian..altough she tries for the sake of our friendship,to overlook some things...blah blah.
And I do not fancy her cause:
    a) she is like a sister to me.
    b) not my type
    c) Conservative Christian
    d) not single
    ..
    Ah well.

From some sources German/Austrian blood mostly... But,perhaps "Gepid/Ostrogoth" even,as you say...
Btw,my subrace was classified by Agrippa so...It's a some more evidence to me that the stories I've heard and some notes in my family I have found are true...
But this thing with runes is really weird...eerie a bit.

If she is not the seventh consecutive daughter, don't worry about her dreams, just crap, visual resonances about her over-exposure to simple symbols.

(Impressive, I've just mixed irrationality of ancient traditions and modern science theories in a totally incongruent post).

I have seen Runes in a dream. It would be interesting to check out the meanings of the Runes she's seen, and see if they relate to her life at all.
