I already said they tried to invade or perhaps more accurately occupy Finland. It's not really a miracle that Finland repelled the occupation.

There were no angels. But not the Russians attacked Hungary, and the Hungarians attacked the USSR. So you better keep your mouth shut, fascist.

Germans killed one of my ancestors. He was just civil 16 years old boy. Another of my ancestors was partisan, he was wounded and stayed disabled as consequence.

Just saying.

Family of my grand mother was wiped during German bombings of NW Bosnia, they died 1942.

House was hit (probably missed main target) and hit their house.

Any people defending their own land had to be brave and give it all. Nazi Germany was probably the most stubborn one. Soviet Union was brave enough just to feed German military with it's huge population. Germans and Soviets have no respect here sticking their noses everywhere and touching foreign land with their dirty frog hands. Only cowards and human scum go on raping and conquering foreign land. Courage and bravery is about having a clean heart and fighting against evil, not about going psycho and trying to conquer the whole world.

This is courage.

I am in no way defending the whole Soviet Union, but just to be fair, on both sides there were terrible people, and some who were just doing their job.
My grandmother was small when the Soviets came in Western part of Hungary, the place was full of German and Hungarian soldiers' corpses... the Soviets came and they just asked for food. They didn't do anything to civilians. At least those didn't. I know exactly in some other places how many atrocities there were even in Hungary... just want to say there were some exceptions.
