I deal with Western Europeans everyday. I live in the U.S

Frankly I think the 109 iq Polish American iq vs the 100 White American Iq is pretty accurate.

I find Polish people to be typically alot more Intelligent. But, not just Poles but other Central / Eastern Europeans too. Like Ukrainians, Hungarians, Russians ect

To be honest I think Hungarians could be the most Intelligent as well. I believe they were the only Nation in Europe who didn't have Witch Trials.

I tend to think nations with higher R1a haplogroup seem to have alot more Intelligent people from my experience.

I find Norwegians, Austrians & East Germans (With Higher R1a) seem to be more Intelligent than other Western European Nations.

Frankly I think most Western Europeans are stupid.

Hmm. without reading to much into this tread I tell you what I read....

1. The size of a brain doesnt mean its intelligent. Otherwise horses would be more intelligent than humans, because their brains are bigger. And the most intelligent beeings on earth would be whales.

The only thing about brain size connected to intelligence is, at least if it comes to comparing SPECIES (not individuals):

Relation of Brainvolume to Bodyvolume, COULD be related to intelligence.
The human race has the the largest brain volume for the body volume they have or other way around, they have the lowest body volume for a brain of their size.

Amoung the tests wich suggested this (Brain-BOdy size relation is important) are tests that showed that INSECTS passed IQ tests as good as RABBITS (and rats surpassing dogs in intelligence), wich was totaly unexpected and made some AI Freaks chear up (processor power needed for THINKING/SOLVING PROBLEMS may be much less than expected and the majority of the brain is just for controlling all the mass of the body, wich an AI system doesnt need.
Means, we dont need to wait til 2030, when processorpower is strong enough to simulate a whole human brain. That part of the brain we WANT to simulate is just a tiny part of the whole thing.

So, a large brain in a large body is as good as a small brain in a small body.

Stupid is a small brain in a large body.
And smart is a large brain in a small body.

Oh...FFS this is not Skaddi! Get a grip..there is no correlation. There are more dolicocepahlic Southern Europeans than there are dolicocephalic Northern Europeans, so by that very fact Northerns would have smaller brains. You can take these sort of studies with a pinch of salt...Also intelligence is certainly not determine by brain size. Albert Einstein's brain was not that big..he had a higher density of neurons in some of his cortical gray matter regions but thats all.

Actually there is, and since people started talking about intelligence and brain size I referred to an article in the Scientific American that deals with among things this issue. Also I did not claim that it is the only biological factor involved in intelligence.

By the way, funny thing how fast people started talking about the intelligence aspect, while I did not include that in the section I quoted. I myself found the part about developing larger eyes and visual brain section (to process the extra information) interesting.

I sort of agree with the higher ratio of brain to body.

But, Taller people on average have a higher iq.

But, Then again on average Asians have a higher iq & they have large brains & small bodies.
