Default Austrian/German genetics. Is there much difference?

My understanding both are about the same. Both have elements of Slavic admixture in their eastern portion.

I think there is probably variation among the regions, i think some austrian regions are more similar to some german regions, while some austrian regions are a bit different then some other german regions. Also there might be a difference between austrian regions themselfes, the southtyrolans probably are different then upper austria, while bavarians are different then eastern germans. But it is one cultural-ethnic sphere. Greater German Reich.

You can see from the My True Ancestry results i posted that there is definitly variations ... eg the contrast between North Germans/West Germans compared with East Germans and Austrians.
N Germans/W Germans cluster much more with NW Euro's and to some degree English.
East Germans and Austrians clustering bit with east central Europeans.

Perhaps the Austrian samples in this case were more from East Austria or Vienna as you see close clustering with Hungarians , Czech, Croat etc.
