But I do believe they have left a substancial ancestral input in modern Peloponessians, which is evident by over 400, 1000 years old, Slavic placenames in Peloponnese (maybe they were more numerous in 1832). regions have still very little Slav admix.

It was not entirely empty of course but it was depopulated due to wars and plagues just like the rest of Balkans which gave Slavs opportunity to occupy the land.
