Slavs were later assimilated by the Greek-speaking majority in Peloponesse. But I do believe they have left a substancial ancestral input in modern Peloponessians, which is evident by over 400, 1000 years old, Slavic placenames in Peloponnese (maybe they were more numerous in 1832). I may be wrong though.

The Slavic input for Peloponnese is has been examined and estimated to be 0% to 14% not only in Pelponnese but also in other parts of Greece some. But I do believe they have left a substancial ancestral input in modern Peloponessians, which is evident by over 400, 1000 years old, Slavic placenames in Peloponnese (maybe they were more numerous in 1832). regions have still very little Slav admix.
Neither was Greece ever empty and resettled by Non Greek people
