Default Non-native French-speakers: do you use the French or Belgian numeric system?

I.e. do you say 'soixante-dix', 'quatre-vingts' and 'quatre-vingts dix' or 'septante', 'huitante' and 'nonante'?

    • The answer is easy: Dutch speaking Belgians and German speaking Swiss learn at school to pronounce septante and nonante like their French speaking countrymen.
(But the Dutch, the Germans and Austrians learn soixante-dix and quatre-vingts dix)

    • In Africa, former Belgian dominions (Congo, Rwanda and Burundi) are taught septante and nonante.

    • BTW, one small mistake: huitante doesn't belong to the Belgian numbering system. It's only used in a Central-Eastern part of French speaking Switzerland (you never hear it in Geneva)

Trad, unfortunately, the simpler one would be an improvement.
