You are interesting. Well, as I almost assumed, my „Heimatprovinz“ wasn‘t called out. „Wir fallen meistens hinten runter“ and were swallowed by Prussia in 1866 after a bloody fight, however never feeling and wanting to belong to. Closest would be „Westfalenland“ bordering to „Ostfalenland“ how my region could be named.
I‘m fine with the anthem we have. This song here had its ground during the Napoleonic time of course.
I like the melody of this Arndt song, but I do not like the way it's performed in the video.

The anthem of the FRG is somewhat problematic, because its melody is reserved for the veneration of the Austrian Kaiser.

Why many of them lived until old age? This woman too, she lived over 90. Maybe because they are usually skinny? Skinny-ness is advantagous in old age.

So as we are doing hymns here - this is the Lower Saxon one. There's also a clip with an English translation, but I don‘t like the instrumentation and singing of it, so I indeed now post Heino‘s version, I firstly wanted to reject.
