And thank you for your detailed description of their diverse phenotypes.

Would you say there is high leves of interethnic marriage between Sami and ethnic Swedes?

Not all Swedes who have Saami ancestry live in the far North. For example, the singer Linnea Henriksson (born in Halland in far Southern Sweden) has a Saami grandmother apparently.

One of the best indicators for Saami ancestry for Scandinavians is - kind of by accident - FTDNA's Ancient Origins. While it's hard for Europeans to get any "Non-European" full Saami do get abt. 40-45%.

I have an acquaintance that is half Norwegian from Narvik (and half Baltic German from Riga) and he gets 3% Non-European meaning some 8% Saami ancestry. That would also be in line with family oral traditions.

Rural Texas. Lots of cedar. Small talk everywhere. If someone drives down my road, the dogs 4 houses down let me know as well as my dogs and all the dogs in between, and then the unwitting passersby get stuck in the mud. I have seen some methheads in town but they are always friendly. There is a rooster farm on the main turnoff, which is sus, but they ride their horses around and smile and wave.

Although it should read, "in the city" "in town" and then "down the dirt road"

no thats not how it works, you need to score actual sami on g25 or illustrated for example

because else that would mean im 30% sami or something which is false

do you have his gedmatch number or k13 / k36?

If you don't want to answer this question, just write that.
