Ethnicity includes common ancestors, which is genetically verifiable like in ashkenazi jews, so it isnt bogus. I agree about culture though, but culture is only one part of ethnicity. I dont think that "cultural appropriation" is a thing or offensive or wrong.

In other words, while it is - or at least should be - an objective, undeniable fact that there are real genetic and physiological differences between human racial groups, e.g. that Black Africans tend to have thicker and curlier hair and East Asians tend to have an epicanthic fold to their eyes - ethnicity is largely bogus. For example, why should hip-hop and RnB be labelled as 'Black music', when anyone can sing and enjoy them, and likewise opera and classical music are sometimes labelled as 'White music', when again anyone can sing and enjoy them.

Ethnicity is partially genetic and partially cultural and race is such a diffuse concept as to be meaningless. Rishi Sunak is technically caucasoid but so are berbers but minorities, such as Indians, can be integrated into British culture as long as they genetically don't replace the natives.

Irrelevant, outdated Anglo colonial classifications that have been phased out in science through decades of study on population genetics. Adamanese people look indistinguishable from Central Africans, but they're genetically much closer to Chinese and even Welsh. A hirsute , tan, double eyelid , Roman-nosed Portuguese fisherman and a Summo fighter from Honshu are much more closely related than two tribes living a few hours by car from each other in Congo with nearly identical physical Characteristics. What's your point.
