I won't lie, I've only ever seen one in real life but there was nothing bad about him, well he was a temp teacher.
I just don't see why everyone is against them. They're peripheral Europeans and Christians and have held out against Muslim nations for centuries - what exactly is the problem?
If the attitude of a few of them stinks then I'd attribute that to the individuals, not the nation.
The Maltese could also be described as peripheral Europeans / Middle Easterners since their language is Semitic and their haplogroups are those of Southern Europe and North Africa.
Yet most people would call them Europeans. I see it as double standards.
