Austrians vs Hungarians - Who is fairer-haired and lighter - eyed

These West - Central European ( Austrians ) people are most likely slightly fairer - pigmented than their East - Central Europeans ( Hungarians ) neighbors in my humble opinion . The difference though is slight and should not be subject to exaggeration .

They are more often lighter haired and have these pinkish skin type phenos (the austrians), but to be honest it's roughly equal. Plus there is overlap

It’s not even close? Then elaborate why. Don’t just say it. As you can see most of us think that Austrians are lighter but no exaggeration. You are obviously entitled to your own opinion. I respect that. However can please explain why you think so ?

I think they are on pair, with maybe Austrians being lighter by margin, but not so sure about it.

I dont know about hungarians as a whole but many hungarians i see in serbia look very balkan (not dark skinned) but weird exotic ethnikkid faces etc. i was surprised all of them are hungarians when i saw them as a group, they looked exotic for northwestern european standards if we take that as core or default what is light and super european
