Btw, on the topic of infrastructure: infrastructure is rusting and crumbling everywhere in Europe, including Germany.

At the moment, it is doubtful that Russia contemplates an invasion of Western Europe. But the invasion of Eastern Europe is already in progress.

Once that task is completed, they can push Eastern Europeans to invade Western Europe. The Soviets had very specific plans for achieving that during the Cold War.

I do agree that Russian expansionism affects Westerners less than Eastern Europeans, but you can't solve issues present in the West (like the DEI doctrine) by colluding with a dictator who needs a helping hand in Ukraine.
