Yes, I agree. Nevertheless, we are a much more balanced as we have a good chunk of all skin phenotypes found in European populations. The French regardless of Roman or Greek invasion and colonization still have a strong Celtic component which shows in its higher frequencies of skin type 1 and 2. We also have a strong Celtic component (chiefly from ancient Belgae tribes) as well, and it shows. Apparently the Swedish, Danish, Finnish and the French do have higher frequency of type 2 than us.

FYI, for your information, skin types 1 to 4 may be found in the vast majority of Europeans. The most common skin phototype amongst native European populations is skin phototype 3. It is the most common skin phototype among native Belgians is skin phototype 3. The second most common is type 4. However at the same time, we have the highest frequency of skin type 1 outside of the British Islands.

You love «*dark washing*» Belgians, don’t you? However, the French also have higher frequencies of skin type 2 than the Danes, Swedes, Dutch, Icelanders, Swiss - Germans and Spaniards. So when you said, «*even French people*» it’s as if the Belgians were the only ones that the French surpassed in terms of skin type 2. For sure, they’re not!

Disagree. Non - European Caucasoids tends to have as a whole higher frequencies of «*warmer*» skin tones in comparison to Europeans. The Caucasoid or Western Eurasian group as a whole is a light - pigmented group. Although the term «*White people*» or «*White race*» properly applies only to European Caucasoids. Some non - European Caucasoids may pass as «*White*» but as a whole they are not Whites!
For example an average Iranian - looking crowd:

Wrong, Eastern Asatics might have very light skin but possess in their a much higher level of carotene or carotenoids in their skin as well as eyes. These carotenoids protect the skin against sunlight induced oxidation effects. Carotenoids are yellow - orange accessory pigments. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a racist. No wonder, some Europeans of old, when they first saw East Asians they called «*Yellow - hued*» later the «*Yellow race*». East Asians also have a much lower frequency of skin cancer in comparison to Europeans.

Where I am from if you ask who's whiter Richard Nixon or Mark Zuckerberg, I am sure people would answer the last one. Dunno about other countries.

Dimitri is defining white as someone in the range of European phenotypes, but this is not how classic anthropologists, even racist ones, defined it. They usually said white = Caucasoid.
If a big/unfamiliar nose shape makes someone "not white", then no epicanthic folds should make someone not East Asian either.
