I think its not about the "white guilt culture". In the past and i mean the colonial age, this black guy & white girl sex was very tabooed/demonized and if you are forbidding something then it will be attractive. Thats white guilt is based on unparallel superiority is a thought I used to have but it doesn't explain a lot of things, white guilt is more likely a result of enlightenment, which encouraged and promoted a critical view on cultural,religious and societal norms which maybe results in a brief scientific boom but the over idealization of the enlightenment lead to a ongoing and never ending self doubt culture that at one point resulted in self hate or guilt over greatness.
