lol They like it for the climate, the quality of life and the safety of being on their own continent. Such qualities cannot be found elsewhere. But here we prefer foreigners who create business, wealth, we don't need pensioners or freeloaders from the rest of Europe.

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

Haha the Caribbean except perhaps individual countries like Jamaica is pretty safe which is why you have all those billionaires like Richard Branson etc living there, the climate is the only thing Spain might have going for it but even I find the Spanish climate less than appealing i.e boiling hot summers and frustrating winters where it reaches the mid teens for a couple of hours then plummets down to just above zero after dark, I found winter in Spain a balance of having to wear a t shirt, a pullover, a light jacket and heavy coat all on the same day.

We have 4 seasons. The British are dying for Spain, now more and more are interested in learning Spanish and as I have seen is what the advisors are advising them telling them that it is very sad to go to a foreign country to stay isolated in an urbanization, apparently they are very interested in learning the Spanish language, they want to work here, set up their businesses, they say they do not support the UK the place where they live, I did not know that they hate their own country so much.

If it is to set up a business they will be welcome, otherwise they should look for another destination, maybe North Africa, Afghanistan, e.t.c.
