It is because we are naive like children and have hard time saying no. When I grew up to be an young adult, I could already quite often say who was bsing me, but I couldn't resist saying yes, but that always resulted in harm for me, not for somebody else. However, most high functioning autists have morality and empathy, either learned or natural, and can resist when being manipulated into something criminal. It requires quite much of a psychopath to convince us, and it usually goes by saying that it will only bring much more good than evil in the long run.
