Hating on Israel is just becoming the "cool" thing to do- it's a way to tick off the "Boomers". But there were lots of anti Israel/Pro Palestinian boomers in the day , so it's not really an effective way to distance from them. In fact, it's more like them in many ways. I like how Zionism ticks off the leftists, and it's kind of based in a way. It's nationalism at it's finest. That being said, I don't think Israel is perfect or without fault, and we shouldn't be giving all our money to them. They don't need it.
