Polygamy is terrible for gene pools. Mormon polygamy caused so much incest via the male gene pool being halved or quartered each generation, so that select few men could have multiple wives, that entire communities were first or second cousins. There is some place that I will have to look up the name for where they are so inbred from Mormon polygamy that they have a graveyard specifically dedicated to babies who didn't make it from genetic issues from incest.

There is a reason that polygamy grosses out most normal people because we almost instinctively seem to know that it spells genetic disaster.

Yeah I agree maybe polygamy can work for some people, but these folks seem miserable and dysfunctional.

It's also appealing for me to imagine a world where I can get piped by a dozen hot Mediterranean dudes regularly with no consequences, yet society would be incredibly fucked up if it was based around the fulfillment of some carnal desire like that. At some point we do need to have rules for how people conduct themselves, especially in regards to sex, marriage, child rearing, etc. This family structure is entirely about his boner and is fueled by the two women being somewhat mentally ill. I doubt women in this dynamic could be good mothers, I doubt the children are going to grow up well-adjusted, and shame on him honestly for being so horny that he'd risk dying in a war and leaving his first family without a husband/father all for some methed out looking elderly pussy.
