Default Irish people, descended from Spaniards ?!?!

I always though that Celts in Northwest Spain (Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria) were descendants of Irish/Britons celtic tribes, but it seems was backwards. Apparently, Celts of Ireland may be descendants of Iberian people, celtic and non-celtic, this is a very good subject to discuss:

Those web links are very old (2006) and they were based on R1b. After that genetics appeared and showed no so much similarity...

Indeed. The vast bulk of the R1b found in Ireland isn't downstream from the R1b found in Iberia (or visa-versa for that matter). They're simply different branches of the same tree.

The earliest carriers of haplogroup R1 came from Russia and not from Spain.

There's some confusion here. The Neolithic people's of Western Europe were all related and receded to pockets on Europe's west coast -illustrated best by the basques- due to successive Indo-European migrations (including Celts) so that there is a genetic relationship between the people's of the British isles and Spain. Ironically the Celtic peoples were similarly pushed to the western edge of Europe by the Germanic peoples forming an eventual cultural union between themselves and the Neolithic survivors but the two groups should not be confused. There are both Celtic and Neolithic European's descendants in Spain and the British Isles.
    Spoiler!
