She's pretty... but not for Miss Belgium. I did research and she apparently did participate in Miss Turkey too. What's wrong with a nice Flemish, Wallonian or German girl? You know, like someone who's indigenous to Belgium. She wasn't even born in Belgium, she was born in Turkey.

At least she's not irredeemably ugly like 2009 Miss England, Rachel Christie (mulatta) is but still... she's not Belgian. And at least prettier than Cape Verdean, Tatiana Silva (Miss Belgium 2005)

Turks tend to come out in all shapes and sizes. I don't know of a typical Turkish look. Impossible to guess her ethnic ancestry I'd say.

She does look better than the current Miss England, but still I fail to see how she was the most beautiful of the bunch. Maybe I'm a fool for whites or maybe these judges are just blind.

I have read that both can draw roots from the Belgaes independent of modern ethno linguistic background, although not clear if this is true..
