Firstly, anything is better than Islamism.

They are not anti-Semitic, or anti-Israel. They are proud of their race and culture. They are ambitious. There is an element of pan-Arabism, which is positive and friendly.

They are not hostile towards Jews or Zionism. They talk about industry, tourism, agriculture and development, not war.

Egyptians are very clever, but Islam is retarding them. I say 'yes' and well done! Egyptians have a lot to be proud of.

Such a movement would make Egypt very competitive, but that is not bad for nations nearby. Competition is good, and political alliances can be very beneficial.

I'd say No. But Pan-Arab Nationialism eg Ba'athists aren't too popular in the Arab world right now. I guess it's not up to us to decide with totalitarian regime Muslims decide upon.
