With the advent of feminsm in the 1960s (notice it was stable before that), looks law began (mediocre women having insane standards, only wanting the best looking guys) and ugly/average incel (involuntary celibate) guys have been quietly removing themself from the gene pool due to the inability to get a desirable female and the knowledge thay are genetic undesirables to society. The advent of internet porn and more men going abroad to find a wife in the early 21st century has reduced the male suicide rate a little bit, but my bet is it's on the way up since this graph was produced in 2006.

haha I think I might be one of when I am around 60, I don't really want to get married nor have kids so it's not too much of a problem, 60 years is a good amount of time to live I think + I don't want to live to see the UK become a complete shithole if I can help it.

What makes you think mediocre women have very high standards and only want good-looking men? I don't think that is really the case.

The UK economy declined post-WWII & then the start of the welfare state. Lots of buildings demolished for high rise council estates. Declining industries, mines shut-down for office jobs. Higher male unemployment. Severe inflation, strikes and union power. Maggie Thatcher.

Not at all. I know lots of average looking men that just want average looking girls, but can't get them because average looking girls are holding out for tall handsome men (the hypergamous nature of females).

Male suicide raters are higher all over the world, everywhere. Because the life of women is easier while men have to have a good job, feed their family etc (a lot of responsibilities). Men have to work their way up, while a random uneducated poor woman could just seduce a rich man and live a good life, just by offering sex.

But I don't think it's true. I know average men that want girls who are out of their league and refuse average looking girls. I think it works both ways. Looks are more important to men in finding a partner in general.
