    This: Hey babe, can I take you home tonight? Maybe stay for a drink or two?

    I'm serious!

    Your 'u' endings remind me so much of Romanian language before 19th century reforms.

    I see you thanked this post - it was a joke. It actually says "Hi there, beautiful! Hey! Wait! Where are you going?"

    Riggiuni Siciliana = sicilian region
    Unlike other regions in Italy (Autonomous Region of Sardinia, Autonomous Region of Trentino, etc.) ,Sicily is legally not the "Region of Sicily", but instead known as the "Sicilian Region". For reasons as to why this is, read this article.

    The region is “Sicilian” sounding like the Republic which is “Italian” and not “Italy” (same as the EU which is “European”) because it is born originally as sovereign entity and linked to Italy by an agreement relationship and potentially equal.

    "Elezzioni" = elections
    Sicilian elections are held every four years, unless there is a need for a special election.

    "Sicilianisti" = sicilianists
    People who emphasize Sicilian nationalism as being more important than other issues.

    "Sicilianismu" = sicilianism
    Sicilian nationalism. An ideology based on increased autonomism or secessionism. the term is usually synonymous with one or the other.

    "'nnipinnintisimu sicilianu" e "Siparatismu sicilianu" = sicilian independentism and sicilian separatism
    The belief that Sicily should secede from Italy.

    "Autunumismu sicilianu" = sicilian autonomism
    The belief that Sicily should have increased home-rule but remain in Italy.

    "Statutu spiciali" = special statute
    The part of the Italian Constitution that guarantees Sicilian autonomy. There are five regions of Italy that have a degree of autonomy, but Sicily's is the oldest, as well as the strongest, in that all taxes raised in Sicily remain in Sicily, Sicily has its own President, and its own Parliament. While the other four regions were given autonomy in the Republic of Italy, it was the earlier Kingdom of Italy that recognized Sicilian autonomy.

    "Parramentu Sicilianu" o "Assimbrea Riggiunali Siciliana" = sicilian parliament or sicilian regional assembly
    The Parliament of Sicily located in Palermo. It claims to be the oldest in Europe, dating back to the 12th century.

    "Palazzu dī Nurmanni" = palace of the normans
    The former royal palace where the kings lived, which is now the home of the Sicilian Parliament.

    "Prisidenti dā Sicilia" = president of sicily
    Sicily is the only region in Italy to have a President of the Region, who is elected, and can only serve two consecutive terms. Other regions can only have a President of the Regional Council.
