Good luck getting sincere answers in a hostile envinorement like this. If anyone does, I can see people bringing "daddy issues" into following discussions a few months later.

My way of thinking means I create a foundation and build from there.

Having a role model doesn't mean nixing free will. It's more about having a standard in which all others fall in line for comparison.

    Thanks Lean .

I think one of the things I realized about myself recently is that I want to have the freedom to express childish and childlike emotions instead of being serious all the time, so mature and emotionally/mentally stable would be a plus for me too :3.

In that case, why would anyone settle with having a boring in-real-life role model who did nothing extraordinary? There are plenty of people who idolize historical figures, and ask a Christian and their role model is Jesus Christ. I myself idolize Attila the Hun - who milked the world of everything he desired and didn't care what anyone thought - fuck 'em.

Mommy/daddy issues are something everyone has. Whether those issues are enough to cripple a person or not is up to that individual.

I am thankful to those who are taking the time to respond with consideration.

    No problem, metal .

I don't think that being childlike is a sign of being mentally or emotional unstable, though. If anything, striking a balance between being serious and childlike is a positive trait and it's healthy!!

Are you sure he didn't care what anyone thought?

It's a bit harder to truly ascertain what a celebrity/historical figure/any type of figure thinks, unless you can zero in from actions who they are.

Extraordinary can be someone who says something revolutionary but simple. I guess it depends on what's important to you as to what is really awesome.

I like shit that works lol.
