I did not, but I saw it in a documentary about Sardinia and it was amazing, just like the own island.

Sardinians are great. They don't look S. Italian at all ... closer to Iberian / S. French.

also in every other aspect we have nothing in common with south Italy, language, culture, traditions, I remember some years ago in an agritourism, there was a band playing traditional songs, and there was also a group of Russian tourists, and the Russian "boss" asked them to sing something like "o sole mio" or "torna a Surriento" , the band members watched him like a poor half-wit, perhaps he thought to be in Naples
