And what about its size? What matters is Georgians and Abkhazians are different peoples which don't come to an agreement to live in the same country.

I'm not saying Abkhazians are Georgians.Yes their language isn't Kartvelian therefore they aren't Kartvelians.I'm saying that Abkhazia is a Georgian land,the land itself and thousand of Georgians lived there,even people I know had homes there and now they can't even go back in their homeland.

It's really sad that wars in this region so often are followed by humanitarian disasters.
But think, when many of these people who had to move from Abkhazia settled there? It was in Soviet time when Soviet authorities included Abkhazia in Georgia with the capital in Tbilisi. Imo, one can be either a Soviet or a Georgian nationalist, but hardly both.

It's not an old history only.I grew up with the knowledge that Abkhazia was Georgia. Georgia is much smaller than Poland and Ukraine and probably it even won't exist in the future.

And Georgia is still bigger than Switzerland or Belgium.

Why? So-called South Osettia_Samachablo is an ancient Georgian land(like Abkhazia)and those split-ups are always bad for the countries. Soon there will be no Georgian land left if things continue in this way. Mingrelians will also want to become independent,than maybe Svaneti,Racha,Guria and the other regions.Georgia(one of the oldest nation with one of the oldest history and culture) may won't exist at all in the future and there'll be tiny weak 'coutries' instead of it.(or Russian provinces) What did Abkhazians get after their ,,independance''? Did it become a nice,modern country?(which is controled by Russia even now) I have Osettian friends and acquaintances who live peacefully here.
Lets make all the regions and cities of the world independent,that must be fun
