The Arverni never traveled to Southeast Europe to my knowledge.
The Boii were further north. They traveled to Pannonia (not to be confused with Paeonia) and fought with the Geto-Dacians. Strabo blamed Burebista (Geto-Dacian king) for the extinction of the Celtic Boii and Taurisci.
Wikipedia says the Baiounitai were a South Slavic tribe and makes no mention of their relation to Celts.

It means "to be able" in Proto-Celtic and was used by Celts to refer to themseves. The gal in words like Gaul, Gael, Gal, Kel (Celtic), etc. come from the same word.
Its similar to how slovo originally meant "word" in Proto-Slavic but then Slavs used that term to refer to themselves and the term Sloveni, Slovak, Slav, etc. are all derived from it.

The Albanians, these tigers of mountain wars ... have as their religion rebellion. Even their worst warrior is one of the strongest and bravest on the battle-field, just as if he was a knight on the legendary horse. But he has no horse, nor proper weapons for battle. Instead of the horse, he has a lance which strikes as lightning, he has spears who's points are full of posion as the sting of hornets, he has also a wooden bow with some arrows. Furthermore, he is stronger than iron ...

Yeah, the Scordisci aren't recorded in North Macedonia but they were the closest thing so I thought maybe they settled there since its close to Serbia but their settlement may not have been in the records. Though there's just as much likelihood that it could have been a smaller Celtic tribe we don't know about.

There is some theory that Slavic self-awarness became naturally after their encounter in Panonnia. those; They were divided by Avars, and after they defeated them, and "meet" again with other Slavic tribes, they enknowledge that those tribes are familiar to each other and call themselves "Sloveni" (from the word "slovo" - word, and the "Sloveni" could mean "those who understand each others."

I was trying to suggest that this tribes might have came to southern Balkans as a part of a sclavinae consideration after their initial settlement in the northern Balkans.
Ofc, this is just a theory of mine.
And Wikipedia although can be a good source of information, by no means is the most reliable and trustworthy.
We have no written prove or anything else, that the Baiounitai have spoken Slavic.
