Jan Hus
You got Hus; he was a well educated, religious man during the 1400's in what is today the Czech Republic. The Catholic Church went against him and eventually executed him; Jan Hus in life though always believed that God cared for people in a way the church never could, and so he tried to emulate God the best that he could while he lived.

Chester A. Arthur (President of the United States (1881-1885)
You got Chester; who was quite the flashy and well-dressed Victorian-age President of the U.S.! He was subtle and yet friendly to both sides of the political aisle.

Lydia Carlton
but she doesn't exist cuz she died
Lydia Carlton is the 17 year old fairy doctor daughter of Professor Carlton who has the rare power to see fairies, an ability that she inherited from Aurora (Lydia's mother). She ends up working for Edgar J. C. Ashenbert as his consultant on fairy-related matters after helping him retrieve the Merrow's Sword (the key to him being recognized as the Blue Knight Earl by the Queen of England). Even though she knows Edgar is constantly deceiving her to a point where it brings her harm, she remains by his side and almost sacrifices her life for him.
Her goal is to become a full-fledged fairy doctor, and she frequently places herself in danger willingly when it comes to anything to do with problems between humans and fairies.

Leonardo da Vinci
You got Leonardo; he was a genius you could certainly say, and he wasn't that much for the more 'trivial' things of this life. He enjoyed art, science, and discovery...and romantic love if you believe some stories.

The Philosopher Cicero
You got Cicero; the Roman philosopher believed in quite a few moral things. Of course he also favored Roman republicanism and the virtues of rule by an oligarchy instead of an emperor, so people today may have mixed views about him. He was ultimately a wise man though, and his appreciation for his city and culture knew not many boundaries.
