The guys were certanly northern european but I don't know exactly from where, they didn't speak a germanic language from what I've heard.

by Romanians: often guessed as Moldovan from Rep. Moldova and a few times as Hungarian

by Italians: guessed as French and more often as American, even German at times

by Turks: guessed as Irish (lol, maybe because it was night and we were in a bar)

by Romanians in Italy: sometimes guessed as Albanian (I had a buzz cut, maybe it helped)

by a Gypsy lady once guessed as Gypsy (I was sporting a mustache, mid long hair and had a black shirt, maybe the style helped too much)
