But only for a short period. And they tolerated (for the most part) Christianity and Judaism. I'd put even the West Asian component at about 10-25% depending on the region. I'd say Cyprus (Greek part) would be 25%, Crete, Andalusia, Sicily and Malta would be 10-15%
