http://science.sciencemag.org/content/363/6432/1230
DOI: 10.1126/science.aav4040
VAD001
mtDNA: U5b1
Y-DNA: R1b1a1a2a1a2a5

Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live.
Even if this were hard--that is how it is ! Assuredly, however, by far the harder fate is that which strikes the man who thinks he can overcome Nature, but in the last analysis only mocks her. Distress, misfortune, and diseases are her answer.

Ancient samples before the arrival of the celts and bell-beakers, were mostly iberos carrying the I2.
In modern numbers, the distribution of I are this:
I1 : 1.5% in Spain, 2% in Portugal, most common in Extremadura (Spain) with 3.5%
I2a: 4.5% in Spain, 1.5% in Portugal, most common in Aragon (Spain) with 14.5%
I2b: 1% in Spain, 3% in Portugal and most common in here.

Hoping for more samples. Right now Z225 is prevalent in north iberia as well as R-L21... but L21 is very prevalent in Ireland, wales, England which kind of points to a Celtic origin. While z225 seems to be probably one of the more ancient remnants of hunters intermingling with farmers. Z225 seems quite prevalent in Galicia, Castille y Leon, etc etc. which is usually the heart of the Portuguese and western Iberian gene pool so makes sense for me (family originally from the north probably- genetically) to have migrated south overtime.
