I'm not defensive. Why does everyone on this ridiculous site interpret opposition as defensiveness? I do oppose it, I just dismissed your characterisation of female sexuality as nonsense.

Criminalized prostitution means no age regulations, or health checks for STD's, including HIV.
All of this compounds the harm of prostitution on society and creates a public health issue, needlessly.

Pornography is on the web and cannot be effectively banned unless every nation in the world chose to do so, and even then nobody would take it seriously and billions of porn files are already everywhere.

Hey, I am not naive and stupid enough to believe in the "all women are prudes" trope. Nevertheless, centuries of religion, male hypocrisy and social conditioning have had their effects on the genders.

His characterisation of male sexuality is also nonsense. I'm not sure if I understood 100% correctly what he meant by "utilitarian attitude towards sex", but I think a lot of men have this attitude because of social conditioning as well - sociocultural pressure on men to be more sexual than women. Men are expected to have no standards and to want to bang everyone and all the time.

Conditioning men like this and believing that this is true is also beneficial to women because they think that they will not have to make effort to be high quality partners and interesting companions in a relationship, because they can just use a promise of sex to lure men into relationships with them.

A lot of men have rather low libido but pretend that they are always ready to have sex with anyone who wants it from them, because that's expected from them as "masculine" and makes them "real men". Also women hate being rejected / turned down / ignored / not complimented on their looks / etc.
