I don't understand the fascination with mars, you can't live on the surface because of cosmic rays so you'll have to go underground. Might as well do that on the moon, no difference.
Now Venus that's a beaut of a planet, btw they found life there. Love to go there.

Humans that will be born on mars will be degenerated in the actual sense.
From bone structure to skin color.
And all of it would also effect us just living there for few decades.
I am all for mars colonization, but I prefer earth and I love our nature.

You have to nuke the core first in hope to reinitiate its magnetic field, than start to grow and reject to kick in a greenhouse effect. What's bad for the earth right now would be good for Mars, so it's best suited as an industrial planet for a couple of hundreds years, unless you want to live like a rat.
