I consider that the WHGs would have become extinct, very conditioned to gathering and hunting, however with farmers comes sedentarism which promotes larger populations; although on the other hand in the concentrations of people come the pandemics but in turn a greater concentration of people makes a greater number of thinking heads so there will be more strategies to continue advancing so many sedentary groups will have more chances than scattered hunting people which I think would have become extinct as happened to the Neardenthales, certainly the arrival of EEF was the best thing that could happen.
